We have all been brainwashed about cigarettes. They are the ultimate in designer drugs. Once you start you are hooked by the most ingenious money making scheme of all time.

I quit and it only took me 27 years. I started when I was 19 years old. I finally quit at the age of 46 years old. What finally made me quit and I mean "quit" was reading a book.

After I read this book I had no urge to smoke. The many times that I unsuccessfully stopped smoking I would crave constantly. When I saw people smoking I wanted to be them so bad! Now? Believe me. I do not want to be a smoker and I am not a smoker.

I will never be a smoker again thank you to this book.

Here are the basic facts that you are going to learn.

  • There are no withdrawal symptoms from nicotine. When you wake up in the morning you are very close to being a non smoker. Those cravings you feel? That is hunger. The headache? That is alcohol or coffee withdrawal.
  • Nicotine does not do anything to you or for you. There is no high. There is no buzz. That slightly dizzy feeling you get? That is brain cells dying from a shortage of oxygen.
  • That urge you feel about twenty minutes after you smoke? That is the urge to feel normal (like a non smoker). You believe the answer is nicotine. The shot of nicotine makes you feel normal. You smoke to feel like a non smoker. Get it? Why smoke?

The book is wonderfully written. It is an easy read and relaxing. The awful pictures of dead lungs and stuff are not in it (they don�t make you stop). The author tells you to take your time reading the book and not to try quitting smoking while you are reading the book.
